PB4L School Value Focus: Kaitiakitanga

  • Great mahi to everyone who took part in UC Sport yesterday. The leaders commented on how polite and engaged you were! We love seeing you have fun and include the values. UC Sport will take place again next Wednesday! 
Sport:

  • Koru Games: Permission has gone out. Well done to the 16 people who have already filled this in. 
  • Breaktime Gear Monitors: Today we have Ra-Ryu & Tyson from Room 12 manning the shed.  
  • Koru Games Basketball 3×3: Training today at 1:15pm on the basketball court. If 2 or 3 bells, it’ll be cancelled. Cheers, Mr. Botting.
  • Basketball: Keep bringing me your singlets please. Thanks to those that have already! Cheers, Mr. Botting. 
  • Boys Futsal: Weather permitting, we will have a training at lunchtime today on the court by the school orchard. If the concrete is wet, we will cancel.
Cultural:  

  • Flute Lessons: Flute lessons on today in Music Room 2. Cheers, Mr. Botting. 
  • Piano Lessons: Piano lessons on today with Julia in the Music Room. Cheers, Mr. Botting
  • Drum Lessons: These are now on tomorrow (Friday) with Frank in the Music Room. Cheers, Mr. Botting. 
  • Choir Permission: Keep getting those forms in please! Trip is next Tuesday. Cheers, Mr. Botting. 
Academic:

  • Year 8 Maths Extension in Room 1 at 8:50am. Bring your Maths book and pencil.  
  • Literacy Extension – is not postponed sorry. Mrs Saunders will take this as usual at 11am.
Other 

  • AV Team: Can you please set up 2 wireless mics in the hall at 1:00pm for the Youth Workers game? Cheers, Mr. Botting. 
  • Library Duty:  Mizuki and Danique are the School Librarians on duty today.
  • If you were given an HPV Form a couple of weeks ago this needs to be returned to the office as soon as possible please.
  • Oscar and Lucinda: Today’s challenge will be a Nerf battle in the hall! Meet outside the hall after eating your lunch, and please listen well to all instructions. This is a great chance for you and your teachers to earn some Pizza Points!
  • Blues Awards: You should have received a HERO notification if you are receiving a blue at our next Blues Assembly (Monday Week 10). Please come and see one of us if you think you should have, but didn’t. Cheers, Mr. Botting & Miss Brenssell. 
  • Library Reserved Books: Kobi (Rm 13) your book is ready for collecting.  Mrs C
