Sport: 

  • Breaktime Gear Monitors: Today we have Jack, Miller & Maneetjit from Rm 4 manning the shed. 
  • Dance Club: Meet in the hall at lunchtime. 
  • Basketball: I need your singlets washed and returned to Rm 5 please. If you’re in a Koru Games Team keep your singlets. Cheers, Mr. Botting
  • Koru Games 3×3 Basketball: Training Tuesday and Thursday this week at 1:15pm on the court by the hall. Cheers, Mr. Botting.
  • Girls’ Futsal training tomorrow at lunchtime. Please bring appropriate gear. If you aren’t already in a Koru games team and would like to join our girls futsal team, then come and see Mrs Blankley today! Helpful if you’ve played football before, but it isn’t necessary! We may have a couple of spots available.
  • Boys’ Futsal: We will aim for a training on Thursday this week.
  • Canterbury Adventure Race:  Congratulations to Walter, Hunter, James and Grace for coming 1st in the 3 hr Championship category and 3rd overall. 
  • Touch Training: Tomorrow 1:15 pm.
Cultural:.

  • Rock Band: Rehearsal in Rm 6 today – lunchtime at 1:00pm. Bring your instruments and lunch. Cheers, Mr. Botting 
Academic:   

  • Kiwi Spelling Bee: 11am (after karakia) today in R1. Bring a pen and scrap paper for working. Participant list below. Good luck!

  • Library Display: With Year 8 camp to Wellington next term this week’s display is all about the sights and activities they will experience in Wellington.  Mrs C
  • Library Duty: Cici and Manu are the School Librarians on duty today.     
  • Kirkwood Studios: Can these people meet Mr Burke & JC in Rm 9 at 1pm today, bring your lunch. Hanchi Chen, Mabel King, Lily Murphy, Yien Zhou, Sathwik Sari.
  • Kids’ Lit Team for 2027: Thank you so much for everyone that tried out for our 2027 team.  We have decided to have five in our team, giving us an extra person should someone be unable to attend on the day. Next year’s team will be Margarita, Chelsea and Maddie (Rm 2) and Mabel (Rm 5). Our extra person will be Ilyas (Rm 2).  Congratulations! If all five students could meet me in the Library tomorrow at 11.45am-12.15pm we can discuss our training and issue out books for you to read.  Mrs C
  • If you were given an HPV Form a couple of weeks ago this needs to be returned to the office as soon as possible please.
