  • Breaktime Gear Monitors: Today we have Ra-Ryu & Tyson from Room 12 manning the shed.  
  • Boys’ Basketball Training: Tomorrow at 1:25pm with Mr. E. 
  • Koru Games Basketball 3×3: Training today at 1:15pm on the basketball court. Cheers, Mr. Botting.

  • Futsal Boys Trial TODAY: Please could these students come to a trial at 1:15pm today: Ra-Ryu, Siwoo, Maneetjit, Meraj, Trung-Ho, Ahmad, Thaddeus, Quinn, Hayder, Ariaz, Hunter, Leon, Ronak, Darren, Harvey, Carter, Leo, Alex, Harry, Elias. Be organised and punctual. If you are trialling for another team, are already on another team, or don’t want to do it, please let me know.

  • Literacy Extension: Is on today. 
  • Year 8 Maths Extension (for ALL extension students, not just the team) in Room 1 at 8:50am. Bring your pencil. 
  • Year 7 Maths Extension (for ALL extension students, not just the team) in Room 12 at 8:50am on Friday.  
  • Year 7 speech finalists – can you meet in the lunch area straight after the notices for a quick photo for the newsletter. Thanks, 
Other 

  • Library Duty:  Mizuki and Danique are the School Librarians on duty today.
  • Oscar and Lucinda Challenge: Today’s challenge is a Cup-and-ball toy challenge, come and test your skill with JC or Donna during lunch 
  • Kids Lit Quiz: Today at 1.20pm in the Library. The Library will be closed for all other students. If you are interested in reading all sorts of books come and try out for our 2027 Kids Lit team. It should only take about 15 min.  Mizuki and Danique please still come to the Library to help me with the quiz.
  • Mrs Corbishley is out at a meeting today. She will be back around 11am.
  • Cubing Club: If you are keen to be a part of the Kirkwood Cubing Club (rubiks cube) then come to a meeting at lunch eating time (1:00 pm)  today in Room 10. You could be a complete beginner wanting to learn how to solve a cube or be a keen racer – everyone is welcome 🙂
  • Oscar and Lucinda: For today’s challenge, we’re bringing back Gaga Dodgeball! Come find the youth workers after eating your lunch to join in. Only a few more weeks to earn some Pizza Points before we reveal the winning class!
