As well as promoting important values such as diversity (all cultures are welcome), we acknowledge tangata whenua by learning te reo Māori and tikanga. Knowledge about things Māori celebrates and strengthens our uniqueness as a nation.
    • Being part of the Kapa Haka group gives students the opportunity to gain confidence performing and involves a commitment to team work.
    • While working towards the Cultural Festival, we also receive invitations – including live television appearances for the last two years on “What Now”, which instils in children a sense of pride and excitement in their performances.
