PB4L School Values (Term 3 focus: Kaitiakitanga)
- Kia ora kura! Welcome to Te Wiki o te Reo Māori. This week by raising the profile of te reo all across our kura we are being kaitiaki of the reo! Listen out every day for new phrases, use your reo around the school to earn house points and tohu from duty teachers!
- Kupu o te Rā: Atawhai (Ah-tah-fai) — Kindness / To show empathy.
- Kīwaha o te Rā: Tau kē! (Tow keh!) — “Awesome!” / “Too good!”
- Daily Challenge: Give 3 different people a “Mōrena” (Good morning) or say “Tau kē!” when someone does something great in class today.

Sport:
- Breaktime Gear Monitors: Today we have Jack, Miller & Maneetjit from Rm 4 manning the shed.
- Dance Club: Meet in the hall at lunchtime.
- Basketball: I need your singlets washed and returned to Rm 5 please. If you’re in a Koru Games Team keep your singlets. Cheers, Mr. Botting
- Koru Games 3×3 Basketball: Training Tuesday and Thursday this week at 1:15pm on the court by the hall. Cheers, Mr. Botting.
- Lunchtime Tau Tag – Two opportunities to play ripper tag footy with the South Island Tau Tag crew. Wed 16th Sept & Mon 21st Sept 1:15 – 1:50pm. Only 30 spots each session, sign up for a session at the Fale. ALL Welcome.
- Touch: Training tomorrow at 1:15pm on the rugby field.

- Rock Band: Rehearsal in Rm 6 today – lunchtime at 1:00pm. Bring your instruments and lunch. Cheers, Mr. Botting

Other:
- Library Display: Te Wiki o te Reo Māori. Try and remember a Māori phrase a day this week. If you would like to complete a puzzle I can photocopy one for you or read a short story in te Reo. Mrs C
- Library Duty: Cici and Manu are the School Librarians on duty today.
- Kirkwood Studios: Can these people meet Mr Burke & JC in Rm 9 at 1pm today, bring your lunch. Hanchi Chen, Mabel King, Lily Murphy, Yien Zhou, Sathwik Sari.
