It’s Mental Health Awareness Week. Have a go at colouring in – it is so relaxing. Your teacher has a link for the MHAW competition (up to 12 years). If you are 13, ask for the Mindful colouring template. Enjoy, share and korero.

Our kupu today is taha whānau. Taha whānau is about who makes you feel you belong, who you care about and who you share your life with. 

Whānau is about extended relationships – not just immediate relatives. You have a unique place and a role to fulfil with your whānau and your whānau contributes to your wellbeing and identity.

Missing basketball: Blue Golden State Warriors basketball lost yesterday at lunchtime. Any info please see Mr Burke in Room 11 asap.
Shot Put: Trials are to be held at the beginning of Term 4. There will be a practice session happening at lunch on the grass outside Room 13 for anyone who is interested.
High Jump: Practice sessions, then recorded sessions will be held at the beginning of next Term. If you’re a keen high jumper then get some practice over the holidays.
