Daily Notices for Friday 1 February

Friday 1 February  2018                     Rāmere tahi Hui-tanguru

Student notices/Panui

If you are interested in visiting China later this year, have a chat with your parents about it over the weekend then meet Mr Tappenden in the library at 1:15pm on Monday (that is as soon as you are dismissed from lunch eating). Priority will most likely go the Year 8 pupils, but do not be put off if you are in Year 7.
Touch rugby: A sign-up sheet will be outside Room 6 at interval for those interested in playing as part of the Summer Tournament.
Assembly today at 2:00pm. Your teacher will tell you where to line up.
Library closed today.
Water Polo: The Term 1 Friday night competition will be start very soon, if you are interested in playing (you don’t need any experience, being confident in the water does help) please come to Room 11 at Interval. If you signed up yesterday, there is no need to come today.
Break and Lunchtime sports equipment: There is a large variety of sporting equipment available for your use at interval and lunchtime. It is located just in front of the staff room. Please be respectful and courteous towards the students who manage this equipment, it is a hard job. All you have to do is sign for what you have taken, then it is your responsibility to use the gear and return it when you have finished, or the end of the break time.
During lunchtime today, Lizzy will be running the Oscar and Lucinda competition – this is a chance for us to find out who the best boy and girl are at a random weekly challenge. To take part all you need to do is come to the courts next to the hall once you have been released from eating and there are trophies for the winners! Today’s challenge is going to start nice and easy with something we call the opposite game, see you there if you want a chance to win!
Softball: If you are interested playing in the tournament team please sign up in Room 1 today at interval. If you signed up yesterday you will have to come again as I was unable to read most of your writing! So the list is blank and you need to come and sign up, please write neat enough for me to at least be able to read it. Thanks.
Student Council: If you are thinking about taking an active role in school life then student council is an awesome opportunity! We need class councillors for both Year 7 and Year 8 classes. For Year 8 students there is a chance to take on specific roles so make sure you check the notices
